Pricing questions
What counts as a verification?+
One verification = one /v1/identity (or document, screening, monitoring) request that reaches a decision. Sub-checks inside an identity call - document, face, address, BVN - are bundled into that single verification.
Do failed or declined checks still bill?+
Yes - a declined or review_required outcome is still a completed verification and is billed the same as an approved one. Requests that error before reaching a decision are never billed.
How are BVN, NIN, and CAC lookups priced?+
They're included in the identity verification price when run as part of an identity flow. Standalone lookups are billed per request at the same per-verification rate.
Is there a free tier?+
Yes - 50 verifications every month at no cost, no credit card required. It includes the full product stack so you can build and test end to end.
How do volume discounts work?+
The Growth tier applies tiered per-verification discounts as your monthly volume grows. Enterprise pricing is custom with committed-use rates and an SLA.
Can I change or cancel anytime?+
Yes. Plans are month-to-month with no lock-in. Upgrade, downgrade, or cancel from the billing dashboard at any time.
